Carol Baer

Dr. Carol Baer joined our practice in 2009. After attending Washington State University for her undergraduate studies, she earned a PhD in nutrition from Cornell University. Dr. Baer then completed her MD and residency at the University of Washington. While working in Trinidad on research for her PhD, she met some wonderful pediatricians who inspired her to consider a career in medicine. Dr. Baer has always loved children, so pediatrics was a natural fit. Dr. Baer continues to have a special interest in nutrition, and incorporates nutrition counseling into her practice. She is also interested in the growing body of research on early childhood development. Dr. Baer is married with two daughters. Her own experiences have given her an appreciation for the complexities and challenges of parenthood. Dr. Baer enjoys hiking and skiing with her family, as well as cooking, entertaining, and traveling the world. Her recent travels have included India, Turkey, Ecuador, and Peru. * This provider currently has a limited practice and may not be accepting new patients.
