Joyce Wu

Dr. Joyce Wu joined our practice in 2004. After studying zoology and psychology at the University of Washington, she attended medical school at New York Medical College. She returned to the West Coast for her residency at Seattle Children’s Hospital/University of Washington. Being a pediatrician was a lifelong dream for Dr. Wu. She admired how her childhood pediatrician made her smile, and how she trusted him to make her feel better. Dr. Wu strongly believes in preventive care and guiding parents and children as they grow as a family. She looks forward to seeing families at each visit: celebrating milestones and accomplishments, playing and talking with her patients from the first coos, smiles and words, to stories about school, and their passions and friends. She loves the relationships she has built with the families she serves, and feels it is a privilege and an honor to be part of their lives. Dr. Wu was born and raised in Seattle. She is married to a fellow physician and together they have two children. Dr. Wu has traveled around the world, and has a strong interest in different cultures. She feels fortunate to be able to work with diverse patients, both culturally and socioeconomically. Dr. Wu loves spending time with her family, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and traveling to other destinations where they can play on the beach and experience new adventures. They enjoy biking, visiting local parks, participating in local seasonal events, watching musicals, plays, and attending the Seattle Symphony together. Occasionally, providers may not be accepting new patients. Please check with the receptionist when scheduling an appointment.
